Hmmmm....hanging out at a 'cafe' at 2 in the morning. I wonder if the victim was a gang member or an associate?

Hey Dead Jimmy: lots of people hang out at nightspots at two in the morning. If you weren't dead, you'd know this. One need not be a criminal to be out late. This is America, where staying up late is allowed. Some people work second and third shifts. So they're out and about late, too.
You've got mud in your eye.

From what I understand the assailants were young kids, some underaged. I think better regulation of local drinking spots could greatly reduce incidents like these. Younger guys are more likely to lose control under the influence and do something so drastic. If these guys are caught, and some are found to be underaged, the bar owner should be held liable too.

Its koreatown... this stuff happens all the time (sad but true). I think what the police should do is do sting operations on these clubs/bars. I've seen some pretty young kids get in. I think korean kids have gotten pretty bad lately esp since a lot of korean kids come here to LA w/o their family/parents and cause trouble cause they have no parental influence.
Me being Korean, the problem is that korean parents work too hard/much so they are not a factor in their kids lives, so the kids search for family in gangs or in their peers.
This was true for me growing up and I think most kids grow out of it, but I think there needs to be more social programs for kids like this.
I hope they find the killers, cause I know someone who knew the guy and its pretty tragic. He was married and had a kid.
