This story is another good example of the citizens of Los Angeles and the LAPD working hand in hand to bring those who violate the law to justice. Police cannot possibly catch every criminal, especially in such a densely-populated place like LA, and citizens should always keep their eye out for suspicious activity.

Kudos to the civilians that aided in the capture of these suspects.

On that note, when calling the police to report a crime or suspicious person, please have some information about the person or vehichle involved. Dont call and say, "Send the police!!" and then disconnect the line.
Get a description of the person; their ethnicity, age, clothing height/weight, etc
Get a description of the vehichle; color, make, model, and direction it last went.
This info is VITAL in catching any suspect and for the safety of the officers and our community!!
