Anyone with information is asked to phone West Traffic Division Detective Davis at 213-473-0227, during normal business hours. On weekends and during off-hours, call the 24-hour toll free number at 1-877 LAWFULL (1-877-529-3855).
I cannot believe that you can justify that man grabbing at a police hollister when he cannot breath and is trying to get air after being peppersprayed. Being punched 7-10 times in the face is NOT appropriate force EVER! Especially when the victim is laying on his back with and officers knee in his throat! Cops these days just seem to get more and more out of control. Maybe you should check into anget management training. Cops get away with murder by justifying BS and it is time for law to be law and not this corrupt system of BS.

Lisa,
Sounds like the one who needs anger management classes is you. Your comments are typical coming from someone living in a squeeky clean, sterile little world and who has never had the duty or responsibility of having to go hands on, down on the ground, to take a hostile and uncooperative person into custody and to jail.
It's an ugly business. Granted, in the heat of the moment mistakes are made. That is the unfortunate truth. And there are procedures in place to evaluate each and every one of them. But for God's sake, officer's are human. They do the best they can. They are regulated ad nauseam by all of the polices the police are forced to implement from arm-chair lawyers jumping on the bandwagon. Every time a tool is taken away by you and your ilk, their hands are tied once again to do the ugly job that you obviously won't get your pretty little hands dirty, to do.
These people wake up every day with the potential of never coming home to their families, being sued by gangsters, losing their homes to frivolous lawsuits, or riding a never ending sea of complaints from a public demanding more and more from them, wondering why they can't deliver. What have you done for your community lately.
Every time an officer is vilified on video by the media, undermines the safety of every citizen, the security of this city and emboldens criminals to challenge the police to use the system against them at every turn. You my friend, are those that suffer.
So to all of you Lisa's out there, be carefull what you wish for, you are well on your way to getting it. Sleep well while you still can.

Law girl,
You don't know from someones post if they are living in a squeaky clean world,so give me a break with that bcause someone is expressing their opinion does not mean they need anger managemnet. It sounds like your a little bitter pill! Post traumatic stress kicked in? You knew when you graduated from the academy you would not be dealing with good people most of the time,so what everyone is suppose to feel guilty and accept that behavior because they chose another profession and don't know whats it like to experience what you decribed? There comes a time my dear in any professsion when your little martier, poor me,look what I do for you attitude is pointless in your job,get out and do something else if your going to rub it in peoples faces all the danger you encounter blah blah blah blah. You chose it so put a sock in it,whether some outside people can "relate" to it or not.
This is a glorified manipulation to justify ones abuse.
Please get off the "what have you done for the community lateley?" First off all you get paid for your job and once agiain every one makes different causes "Lisa could do charity work for breast cancer survivors for all you know!
People are half ass citizens if their not chasing down gang memebers? Get into another profession, you sound bitter
