Human Remains Found in Two Dumpsters

Los Angeles: On December 7, 2007, at around 3:30 p.m., patrol officers from Hollywood Division received information that a dead body was possibly disposed of in the area of Western Avenue and Russell Avenue.  Officers searched the area and discovered human remains in a dumpster in the 1800 block of Western Avenue.  Further investigation revealed that additional human remains were located in another dumpster in the area of Western Avenue and Franklin Avenue. 

The identity of the victim, a male Black, 47 years old, is being withheld until the next of kin can be notified.   

The suspect, Frank Ruiz, a male Hispanic, 21 years old, was arrested on Sunday, December 7, 2007, around 8:00 p.m. Ruiz was taken into custody at his residence in the 1700 block of N. Western Avenue. 

The cause of death and motive for the murder is unknown at this time.

Someone threw out a perfectly good dead body?

Jeez, the nerve of these Hollywood residents.

I know crime in Los Angeles? I thought LA was a safe city wow was I wrong. HAHA Im not that dumb. I know there is lots of crime and the police department doesnt really want to fight it. They would rather go after their own officers then police a city. Too bad I guess thats why i dont live in Los Angeles any more.
