During the initial investigation by the Los Angeles Police Department it was discovered that several residents in the area had heard gunshots at around 2:00 a.m., but no one called the police or fire department..
Detectives have not determined a motive for this shooting, and there is no information about the suspect(s). No murder weapon was found.

What about the 40 foot school bus who hit and run murdered the 31 year old girl on New Hampshire and Wilshire on earth day? Did the LAPD find it bright yellow, 40 foot, brand new school bus yet????

Rich, your saracasm is not appreciated. The LAPD has a very difficult job in trying to find the person responsible, and catty remarks like yours are uncalled for.
Considering that there are hundreds, if not thousands, of school buses within Los Angeles County and many of them are NOT owned by any school districts, it is a nearly impossible task to find the one involved. There are probably hundreds of buses owned by private businesses and ordinary people alike, and they operate all over the city and state. How would YOU track each and every school bus in the city down, and then find the manpower to inspect them all to find the one that was involved?
