

Update:
With the
assistance of the San Jose Police Department, detectives conducted
follow-ups in San Jose and San Diego, in an attempt to locate the
missing minor. It has been determined that Claudia Yat voluntarily
left on October 19th with the male, identified as Antonio Santo
Martinez, 22 year-old resident of San Jose, California.
On October 23, 2008, both Antonio and Claudia traveled to San Diego,
California. There they boarded a Greyhound bus to Tijuana, Mexico.
The previously described Kia vehicle has since been recovered.
Detectives believe that Antonio and Claudia met via the internet and remain in Mexico.
Los Angeles: Detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department’s Robbery-Homicide Division, Southeast Division, and the Los Angeles Division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation are investigating the disappearance of a 15-year-old girl.
On October 18, 2008, 15-year-old girl, Claudia Yat, attended a family birthday party in the area of 89th Street and Broadway in the City of Los Angeles. Claudia and her family were visiting from Temecula, California. At 4 a.m. on October 19, 2008, Claudia’s family discovered her missing.
Claudia
may be in the company of an adult Hispanic male. They may be traveling
in a blue car and possibly headed to the area of San Jose, California.
Claudia was last seen wearing a purple shirt, blue jeans, and black
sandals. She has brown eyes with brown hair, 5 feet tall, and weighs
105 pounds.
