It's amazing what happens when a member of the city coucil is/was related to one of the victims. A quick $75.000 AMAZING!

J,
Don't hold back, tell me who the member is and which victim is the releative and how he is related. If that's the turth it is amazing. but you give too little details to make your statement reliable.

Lets just say that Council Member Jose Huizar sure got the ball rolling on this one. He is/was related to one of the victims (Unknown which)and immediately got involved with the investigation. It takes a serious act from god to get the city council to buy off on a reward (Which is usually $50.000) somehow they bought off on $75.000.

J,
So what? If I was in the same position I would do the exact same thing. A reward doesn't equal a conviction. Any reward is just a comfort to the family, it doesn't mean that anyone is going to get turned in. Besides, sometimes one can't help who family is. If Huizar was able to make his other family members fell better about the reward why not do it? There are a lot of unjust moments in life this is just one of them. Besides whats the point of being family if you can't count on the ones that made it? Huizar didn't do anything Illegal or unethical. This doesn't bother me at all. I don't get why this is bothering you so much? If you had a family member in with the ability to tilt the scales in your favor do you mean that you would actually tell this person no...don't go out of your way for me? Don't call in any favors? Of all the things in politics to be upset about this is what does it for you?
