ummmm. Why aren't you guys updating us on the officer involved shooting that took place last night on Iowa St.? Wondering if you caught whoever you were looking for, and why shooting the suspect was necessary...... I live righ there and want to know if we are safe.

I want to say to the Chief of police, you did a very good job in maintaining the streets at the Staple Center for The Michael Jackson Memorial Service. Things ran smooth and well moderated. I was not there I watched on T.V. and things were wonderful, Police looked well organized,on post at Forest Lawn at the Jacksons home as well as the Staple Center....Congratulations on a job well done...

Did anyone see him ?

Martha,

If you don't think that the shooting of this suspect was necessary then you have been safe all along. Any regular Joe caught with a gun on the streets makes you safe doesn't it? You are the answer to your own question.

Sandra, i didn't see the Chief of Police out there , during the 14 hours that i was standing my post. Starving and sweating buckets all day. I want to say, job well done, to all the cops out there who were holding the line with me. Good job guys.

Earth calling Marth. You answered your own question Tinkerbell. You feel safe with peeps in your hood walking around with guns? I'd say the officers made the best judgement call and you should trust that while protecting and serving you they take the best action for your safety.
