Los Angeles: A West Los Angeles man has been found shot to death in the underground parking garage of his residence.
On October 26, 2009, at around 11 a.m., the victim was discovered on the floor of the subterranean parking garage to his residence, a multi-unit complex in the 11700 block of Goshen Avenue. The victim had suffered a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim, who was last seen alive around 9:30 a.m. the morning his body was discovered, has been identified as 65-year-old West Los Angeles resident Richard Traweek. The reason for his death is still under investigation.

The sales meetings for the first R.E. syndications that crumbled consisted of what looked like two rooms filled with investors in their 50's and 60's.
Some, I believe lost their retirement, or at least had their retirement greatly impacted. If you walked past those two rooms you could hear the loud anguish, sometimes shouts or shrieks coming from the crowd. I never forgot the sound of those people. It was heartbreaking.
This was about 20 odd years ago. Many of whom you would expected to die or have died by now, which, if so, is the same time someone shot Mr. Traweek.
I'll always be fond of him. Perhaps because I wasn't one of those who lost any money there.
