I feel so sorry for this poor woman. Her husband is dead and she homeless. She will probably be in for the biggest hassle of life just to get her home fixed. The police will say not there fault the city will the same. The insurance company will tell her to go after the city.

Yeah, "citizen" I couldn't hope but notice your diatribe was void of any mention of Officer Jenkins and his major sacrifice to this woman and our city. But as is typical of your anti-Law Enforcement drivel. Officer Jenkins didn't suffer a minor (in the grand scheme of things) material set back, but instead almost gave his life (much more precious than a two story home in any city), which is the most tragic part of this whole situation. We are lucky to have him still alive, and our prayers are with him and his family.
If you have any morale fiber left in you, you'll write a check to Officer Jenkins and start a donation process for the Female victim in this case. Put your money where your mouth is this one time, instead of feebly waxing malcontentious about the police department.
Pony up my friend!

Wow all because I feel bad for this woman. You don't know if I have given a donation or not. But of course you know the holy self righteous Ed know everything. Of course I feel for the officer but that does not mean I can't feel for the woman. She is just as much of a victim as the officer. Her's is mental. This is none of your business but I did make a donation, and what I said was the truth she is in for the fight of her life. So is the officer. Get a hold of reality.

Citizen,
Wow, not one word about the other victim in this case. Well I should say victim, (Jenkins). This wasn't the first time this situation happend. After the first time she the wife) stops being a victim and becomes a willing participant.
