- Chief of Police Charlie Beck reported it was a very quiet 4th of July weekend compared to last year which was very violent.
- Inspector General Nicole Bershon announced with a heavy heart she will be leaving her position and be heading to a position with the Superior Court. President John W. Mack wished her success in all her future endeavors as this presents a big loss to the police commission.
