What nonsense!

Could you please expound upon what you believe is "nonsense.

Blaine Edwards is obviously an idiot who has no idea what the Police Memorial is about or what it represents. Perhaps you should stand-up and get up off of your ass and attend the Momorial, which honors the fallen Officers (heros) that sacraficed their lives for the benifit of others! The only thing that's non-sense was your ignorant comment! Get up and stand up and show some respect for those who deserve it.

My hat goes off to the Men and Women who serve one of the most dangerous cities for police officers. For those who have fallen, I salute them for making the ultimate sacrifice.

I also wear a badge, but I do not face the same level of danger as my colleagues in Los Angeles.

"Nonsense"????

Every year we drive to Sacramento for the Memorial.Nonsense? How about looking into the eyes of family member's,the children who lost their Dad or Mom? We have men and women kiss their kids Good-Bye before work, hug their loved once, never knowing if this would be the last time. These men and women never get any credit, but still go and do their job. These men and women are hated for trying to give us a better life.
Nonsense? To have a day or a week to show our Officer's,that we care about them, support them, that we are there for the families of the Fallen?

I'm proud of our men and women, who put on a Uniform each and every day.Thank you for doing an un-thankfull job, thank you for your and your families sacrifice.Thank you .

I don't consider a candelight vigil for fallen police officers to be nonsense. Cinco De Mayo parades, Fiesta Broadway, those are nonsense events that block off the streets and tie up traffic all over the city.
