It is interesting how our beloved chief (choke) continues to throw us under the bus. I was at the Police Commission meeting and came away with the clear understanding that our guys were taking a literal beating before the order to disperse was given. Yes there were a few questionable displays of force by a few coppers but for the most part we did our jobs patiently and professionally.
Ironically, on my way home I listened to National Public Radio (not a particularly pro police outfit) and the reporter who was at the meeting stated that the Department put on pretty compelling case backing up what the rank and file have been saying about not rushing to judgement before all the evidence was in.
On the other hand our political puppet (Billy Boy Bratton),after the power point display by Chief Mcdonnell, gets on the mike and says "See I told you those cops were F'd up" instead of saying "Yah we made some mistakes but but for the most part we are still pretty squared away."
He is such a poser. Five more years of this guy and we will be just as fat, dumb and stupid as the NYPD that he so called "turned around" too.
