This just in:
" A $5.47 million contract to install video cameras inside 300 Los Angeles Police Department squad cars was approved on a 3-1 vote today by the Los Angeles City Council's Public Safety Committee."
Great!!! How about using the $5.47 million to deal with a MAJOR officer safety issue first???
Radios that WORK!!!!
Never mind. I seems that whatever the Consent Decree wants gets first dibs, regardless if officer safety is an issue or not.

$18,000 each per camera? Seems a bit high to me. Is this the lowest bidder? Did someone get greased?
