Los Angeles: Detectives from the
Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) are asking the public to help them
identify two men responsible for a couple of robberies in the West Los
Angeles area.
The first robbery happened on May 4, 2025 at 9:30 a.m., in
the 9000 block of West Pico Boulevard when two suspects walked into an
antique store, ordered the store employee to the floor and stole a large
amount of antique jewelry. The suspects ran away from the store and
the victim was not injured during the robbery.
The second robbery happened on July 4, 2025 at12:15 p.m., when investigators say the pair walked into the front door of an antique store located in the 2000 block of South Robertson Boulevard. Once inside, the two men posed as customers then bound and forced a store employee to the floor and took a large amount of money and antique jewelry. The victim was not injured during the robbery.
The weapon used for both robberies was a black revolver.
One suspect is described as an African American male who is
20-25 years old. He has black hair, brown eyes and a medium skin tone.
He stood 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighed about 200 pounds. He was
mild mannered and well spoken.
The other suspect is described as an African American or Hispanic male who is also 20-25 years old. He had black hair and brown eyes, stood 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighed about 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing a dark-gray shirt and dark jeans.
Surveillance footage shows the two suspects walking in the vicinity of the store. The footage is available at www.lapdtv.org. The sketch of the suspects are attached to the news release.
