The way the traffic was handle yesterday on the west side was just stupid. A better plan should have been used. Typical L.A.P.D

Quit your belly-aching CITIZEN! Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! It's the city, get over it or take the test. The DOT needs help.

No thanks I have a better job that pays a lot more. The L.A.P.D. could and should have done a better job. Cops were standing around not even trying to help people. EDWARD

It's nice to see the LAPD doing more with less and still managing to lower crime. As for Ed O'Shea, if he really is an LAPD Officer, he's somebody you can let go and still manage to keep crime down. His postings remind me of the babbling of a child.

I agree with you 100%.

Hey Bruno, I take your at homonym attack as a citizens Commendation. Clearly you don't live in South Central, where the people are subjected to the savage behavior of the gang members. I take great pride in standing and speaking up for those law abiding citizens that are beaten, attacked, murdered, robbed, raped and just generally bullied by punks like you and your fellow gangsters and gang member facilitators. I can only deduce from your drivel that you're one of the aforementioned, less than desirable types.

Oh, and welcome to the game Johnny-come-lately, we've been doing more with less for the past 50+ years. Glad to see a Rhodes Scholar such as yourself just blessed us with your scholarly opinion.
Your welcome for the reply. And yes, I really am, a real live policeman.

You know Ed, I give you hard time, but you are alright. What I really like about you is that you never back down. Just like me.

The Citizens of LA should be glad they have Coppers like Ed O'Shea keeping you all safe. Most civilians have no idea what it's like to suit up and do a patrol shift in South LA, or to be involved in a foot pursuit down a dark alley in Compton. It's the greatest job in the world, one in which you can really make a difference by taking the bullies and predators off the streets. It's also one of the most respected professions by law abiding citizens. Of course there are those who who will never amount to a hill of beans who have most likely have found themselves handcuffed, in the back of a patrol car several times in their insignificant lives, like our little friend who seems to always have something negative and disparaging to say on just about every post on this blog. People like that will always hate cops because we screw up their fun (I think you all know who I am talking about.) We really don't care how people like that feel about us, in fact we look forward to making contact with these individuals when they run afoul of the law...

CITIZEN.... As much as we spar on this blog, I would still take a bullet for you. No joke!

Ahh, Hugs all around. Jokes aside, this is exactly what healthy discourse is about. We must all remember that our different viewpoints and ability to express them is what makes this country great. Remember that our police force is actually here to defend those rights and make our citizens feel safe from those who would harm them for their own gain. These blogs can become heated and at times I have seen things written that disgust me. Always try to remember there is a human being behind those words with experiences far different from your own. Also remember that what they write on a particular subject is a small part of their whole and try not to box them in and label them as this or that.

I can't speak for all police officers, but believe me when I say that most do their job out of a strong sense of justice. We want to see those who did something wrong face justice and those who do right free from fear and oppression. Its not black and white. Its difficult because humans are involved on both sides. We do our best and we do it for you.

I would hope that you would never have to take a bullet for ANYONE. But is still nice to know.
