• Police Commissioner President Andrea Ordin said she will be attending the Police Cadet graduation later this month and is really looking forward to it.
• Police Commissioner Rafael Bernardino stated he attended the graduation of class 5/12 at the Police Academy last Friday. He said the ceremony was something special to watch and urged people who have never attended one to do so.
• Police Chief Charlie Beck thanked Commissioner Bernardino for attending the recruit graduation and said he recommended people attend the Police Cadet graduation scheduled for later this month. Chief Beck completed his comments by saying there are currently 9,925 sworn police officers and 2,903 civilian employees in the Department.
