I wish Thom Brennan would take a walk thru the existing new facilities that's been built..Like Newton and 77th...The place is falling apart....Absolutely no preventive maintenance seen in the facilities...Give me a break....And what about overtime ? Where is it? To quote LASD Baca "Overtime is part of the job" Apparently not at the LAPD, unless of course you work PSB or Officer Rep Section...this confirmed by two supervisors from both sections, they average 20-30 hours a week...thats B.S.....I guess it pays to hide in the building somewhere.

it sure does. It pays to hide inside but the line street cop who is protecting the community can't work overtime. What a joke. You pay overtime to investigate cops but nothing for the street cop out there putting bad guys in jail. The street cop has no supprt by any city leader. When are they going to wake up. They are trying to police on the cheap. They burn cops for b.s. and they want us to be proactive. You are going to start loosing cops and the one we are getting dont measure up to much. We have no city leaders and the ones we do have on the department are punished for doing their jobs.
